The Mission of Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron

The Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron, as a squadron of the United States Power Squadron and a non-profit organization of the Commonwealth of Virginia, shall encourage and promote boating education and safety for its members and the public. It will provide a friendly, social setting for enjoying marine activities and appreciation for boating and self-education as part of a national fraternity.

Membership
If you have a passion for boating and would like to share that passion with others either through:

  1) Teaching or assisting in teaching others about boating saftey, navigation or other marine related courses.
  2) Socializing with other boaters that enjoy boating and having fun.
  3)  Assisting other boaters through the various programs within the Sail and Power Squadron  such as Vessel Safety Checks, Boating Safety for Kids, Christmas Float, and social activities.

Then Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron may just be the place for you.  Come out and visit us at one of our meetings or rendevous or just stop by our booth at one of the local events.  Just check our calendar for the next scheduled function.  Better yet, send an e-mail to our membership coordinator, Don Bowser, AP.  We would be glad to welcome you into our organization.

If you are new to the area and are already a member of  another squadron in the United States Power Squadron, we would be happy to have you as a guest or to assist you in moving your membership to the Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron.
